These robust sensors feature an abrasion resistant plate stainless steel face and impact resistant electronic circuitry. Engineered to withstand the harsh pressroom environment, these sensors greatly reduce maintenance and costly press downtime. Syron's Gripper Mounted Part Present Detection sensors mount directly to Series LTG1010 meduim duty grippers to provide reliable part present detection under the ram. These sensors are engineered to survive the harsh pressroom environment and feature impact resistant electronic circuitry and robust all-metal housings. Syron's Mechanical Part Present Switches provide a mechanical interface for part present sensing. A heavy duty actuation arm is bent / shaped by the stamper to contact the panel and transfer clamp motion to a magnetically actuated reed switch. Syron's Series SNP nut detectors provide early detection of missing nuts or threads. Weld field resistant circuitry allows the sensor to be used very close to the welding operation for detection of an incorrectly built part early in the assembly process. Syron's Double Blank Detection sensors prevent damage to dies and stamping machinery by detecting multiple blanks during the load sequence. Quality control checks can be performed in-process to verify the presence of multiple components during an assembly sequence.
